et oui moi aussi j’ai vécu 2ans en grande bretagne et je n’ai pu donner mon sang qu’une fois dans ma vie (à 18ans) et puis il y a eu cette règle! Tant pis! C’est moins stigmatisant que pour les homosexuels mais c’est très frustrant et très idiot aussi…
Ca devrait être autorisé pour tous ceux qui ont des relations stables homos et hétéros

Ton post me touche enormement, on a vecu tout ceci ici aux usa, nos amis gays se sont senti humilie et frustre de ne pouvoir nous aider. On pense organiser un envoi massif de mail pour soulever cette question. Ton post arrive donc a point! Voici ce qu’un ami a envoye a bethematch.com, le site americain pour le don de moelle osseuse…

I tried to sign up for your registry again in support of a coworkers husband whom was recently diagnosed with cancer, as I was denied a few years ago.

I am disappointed to find out that you still deny homosexual men the opportunity to donate their bone marrow. This is particularly frustrating knowing that there are currently tests that can identify HIV three weeks into infection. I would also like to know how many potential donors you reject based on this qualification, I know many cancer survivors that would be very upset to find this out and I know many people who have lost a loved one that would consider this more than just a little offensive. Get off your hetero-normative asses and fix a broken link in your system. I would be happy to help, just let me know what I can do.

Anecdote :
Vous le savez, les lesbiennes, elles, sont autorisées à être donneuses. Je suis bi et avais alors demandé au médecin faisant passer l’entretien pourquoi les gay non mais les lesbiennes oui. Et c’est à la jeune fille de 18 ans que j’étais qu’elle répondu un magnifique « ho non mais c’est bon, entre femmes, aucun risque de MST et de IST ! »
Je trouve ce toubib dangereux… et ça bosse pour l’EFS attentions hein…
